Teen Center – Lynn

The Lynn Teen Center, located at 17 Columbia Street, provides a comfortable, welcoming teen-friendly space for socializing, academic support, career and college services, and field trips. A light meal and transportation will be provided for free.

Program Goals

  • Explore Your Interests - try new activities, explore career interests, and invest time in what you’re passionate about
  • Engage with the Community - meet new people, build relationships, discover your own city through field trips, and volunteer
  • Grow and Improve - keep up with your schoolwork, set goals you care about and start to pursue them

Program Schedule

  • Open for Welcome Week (Monday, October 6th-Thursday October 16th, 2025) Welcome Week is an opportunity for students to learn more about what our Teen Center offers, and participate in fun activities
  • Our Fall Session will begin once Welcome Week is over, on Monday October 20th, 2025.  This is when yearlong programs, enrichment labs, and guest speaker/work-based opportunities will begin!

  • Days: Monday-Thursday Time: 3-7PM (opens at 12:30 on 1/2 days)

Program Design

Career & Education Pathways Career & Education Pathways ensures that all LEAP high school students receive guidance in their postsecondary and career development through comprehensive, explorational, and immersive activities and experiences. HS seniors benefit from comprehensive support on all components of their post-secondary applications including essays, resumes, FAFSA, scholarships, and deadline management. For more information, contact Lara São Pedro: lsaopedro@leap4ed.org

  • Transportation available to students who live more than 1 mile from the Teen Center and have no other way of getting to program
 

Student Eligibility

Open to any local students, with priority given to students who attended LEAP's Dream MORE middle school program and currently attend Lynn English High School, students from economically disadvantaged households, English learners, and first-generation-to-college students.
