Summer Work Program Career Mentor
July 10th - August 17
One afternoon a week (Mon-Thurs) for 60 minutes
In this role, volunteers are matched with a mentee to help them explore their interests, develop their goals, and build their workplace skills. Mentors meet mostly virtually with their mentee to help them in a service-learning project and end presentation.
VOLUNTEERS should have experience in a career field, be comfortable interacting with youth, and ideally have some experience mentoring, teaching, or coaching. An orientation is mandatory and although it is not required, it would be helpful to be bilingual in English and Spanish.
